It's just six days until Oceanology international opens its doors. So, it's time to get your diaries finalised and make sure you are making the most of the available media opportunities at the show. Journalists will be firming up their diaries for next week.  Here's what you need to do:

  1. Send an email to the editorial contacts of the publications that are sponsoring the show and tell them about your top news (see B2BPR: Capturing your big story), invite them to visit you on stand to hear directly from your experts.
  2. Schedule a follow-up email (or phone call) this week, in which you suggest that they schedule an appointment with your spokespeople.  Be friendly and businesslike.
  3. Email Aidan Synott (http://www.aidansynnott.com), the official OI2016 photographer and find out when he is available to come and photograph your stand - maybe you've got a contract signing or an 'official' launch you want to capture for future publicity.
  4. Check in with the Show Daily and find out if you can help them with any of their stories, offer subject matter experts for interview.

This is how to be really effective with your B2B PR - plan, be relevant and follow through.

If you have any questions do contact me on my mobile, 07966 820320.  I shall be visiting the show on Wednesday 16th March and would love to hear how you are getting on.
