A Dependable PR Team

Our clients know that they can rely on us to deliver consistently, while working as a seamless extension of their own operation. We challenge, we engage and we are totally committed.

We secure interviews for clients in two ways.  A journalist may invite expert comment for an article they have already been commissioned to write by a publication.  In this case, if you get selected, you are likely to be one of several, possibly competitive, organisations that are referenced.

Alternatively, and we think preferably, an interview may result in response to a feature idea or angle that has been proposed, by us, on your behalf.  These opportunities are superior because the article has been framed specifically with your interests and expertise in mind so it is entirely possibly that you will be the only contributor. If additional comment is required we can put forward your customers or collaborators to fill in any gaps the journalist may want to fill.

To differentiate between these two types of interviews we refer to second as Media Briefings.

Both types of interview have their place and can add value. In both instances Emmett & Smith will prepare the spokesperson with written briefing material and messaging guidelines as an aide memoir and facilitate the interview itself.
